9:00 Introduction, objectives, overview
Teambuilding Activity:
Participants will experience 2 different introduction/icebreaker activities. They will then explore why we do teambuilding activities (benefits and risks).
10:00 Planning a Teambuilding Activity: Participants learn what to consider when selecting the best activity for a group. Then they learn how to plan and prepare for any teambuilding activity’s success.
10:45 BREAK
11:00 Conducting Teambuilding Activities: Participants learn how to set up an activity so the players engage quickly and fully.
12:00 LUNCH
1:00 Debriefing Teambuilding Activities: Participants learn what questions to ask, and how to ask them, after an activity. The discussion afterwards is when the real learning from an activity takes place, and must be done effectively for the whole experience to be effective. Participants learn how to lead this important discussion.
2:00 Extending the Learning Beyond the Activity: Participants discuss and learn ways to extend the learning from the activity, so that the team uses what they learn back on the job.
2:30 Common Problems and Pitfalls to Avoid: Participants learn how to avoid and/or deal with the more common problems that can thwart their teambuilding efforts. They will also learn how to adapt teambuilding activities for virtual teams.

3:20 Practice: Participants plan for and practice running quick teambuilding activities with each other.
